Tim came to H.H. Brown in June 2002. He served as director of private label footwear for Lowell Shoe (now Söfft Shoe), sales manager for Quark footwear, and then Vice President of Sales for the Söfft, Softspots and Quark brands before assuming his current role of Senior Vice President and General Manager of Söfft Shoe Company.
Born in St. Louis, Tim lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan before returning to St. Louis. He majored in Finance at Regis College in Denver. Tim worked at Liz Claiborne shoes in a number of capacities - merchandising, customer service, department store account representative and then private label sales and product development before coming to H.H. Brown.
It was more than chance that led Tim to a career in the footwear industry; it was a tradition that began long before he was born, over 100 years ago. “I’m the fourth generation of my family to be in the shoe business. My great grandfather, grandfather and father were all in the shoe business,” he says. Now Tim continues the legacy.
What inspires Tim today? Finding and developing the talent for a strong sales team. “It’s so rewarding – finding someone with the right personality for the job who works well with the rest of our team, giving them solid training and a great product and watching the person succeed.”
When not in the office, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing golf.
